With the recent freeze, the grass is dangerously dry and dead, making conditions perfect for fires to spread out of control—especially with the high winds this week.

What You Need to Know:

✅ Check the weather—wind + dry grass = disaster
✅ Have plenty of water & fire suppression tools on hand
✅ Never burn alone—have help ready
✅ Notify local authorities before burning
✅ If in doubt, DON’T BURN

Just a little reminder….Today isn’t about the election results or the political parties or any of that…. Today is about the men and women of this country who were willing to sacrifice their lives for our freedom to voice our opinions and the rights we hold near and dear to our hearts, regardless of what political ideology you support…..Make sure you Thank a Veteran for their courage, dedication, commitment and service to America.

To my fellow Veterans, thank you for standing the line with me. To those still serving, thank you for your service!

Today was a fantastic day at the Back to School Closet Swap! We had such an amazing turn out and of all the donations that we received (roughly 30 bags full!!!🥰😲) I only had 5 bags full left to donate at the end!!!

A huge thank you to everyone that donated items….this event is not possible without the community support!!

And a very special thank you to Amy Chovanec, Brianna Keller and her family, Brenda Calvin and my amazing husband Marcus Schwab and our boys for their help with getting this event set up and ready and then taken down and the remaining items donated!

Brenham has done it again!!! We have an absolutely amazing community that has made the Brenham Moms facebook Group’s Back to School Closet Swap (happening tomorrow morning) a possibility! This event is a chance for families in need of help with back to school clothes for kids and adults needing help with clothing for the changing seasons to come take what they need for free no questions asked! This is our second year doing this event and we hope that we get to continue to grow and help our families in need out!!
