Day 7 ( one week)
Glass Butte Knap-in Lake County Oregon
After taking care of the shelf which we are proud of. Making it a safer place, even if it is a small deed. It was done with good hearts.
Then finding color at the Northern Lights pit.
After 16 tours and tutorials with newbees, going back to see what progress they have done and many stopping by to show us what they found is very educational for us. Up front information is the best.
We have decided to do the rest of our digging in the Northern Lights pits. A weeks worth.
Now please take out what you bring in.
This year we have found way too much garbage and invasive glass ( wiskey, beer, booze bottles and tin can in fire pits. ) and plastic, as well as food containers.
Please....
The atmosphere here is very FRIENDLY AND FUN.
The Knappers are awesome people to meet and learn from.
We have been trying to build a new map for years. In truth this map is as good as you are going to get. Now we are taking notes ,jotting them down on the map with road conditions and land marks to recognize what rd to take where.
A good day today
