Strangely enough, the same days I was cleaning out the shop, my garden suddenly began to flourish! My morning glory must have dropped seeds at some point because small sprouts appeared around it. After last week’s storm one of the sprouts grew explosively. In fact, the vine and leaves are three times as large as the parent plant’s! My pomegranate suddenly developed three blooms as well. I’m not certain what changed, but I’m pleased with the results!

It’s hard to say goodbye...
I’ve been putting off this post for a while, due to some unforeseen circumstances Born in Fire Creations is moving. At the moment I’m going to be limited to small projects while I look for a new workshop. Not to worry though! It takes more than a move to stop the fires of creation.

New anvil! Swipe right to see it restored and to get some perspective on its size! Over twice the weight of my first anvil and thanks to the metal stand, it’s *much* quieter while still having the same rebound quality. I’m going to love shaping steel on this.

The best thing about being friends with a beekeeper? Free honey! Byrddwr and I had the excellent privilege of tasting some of the honey made by and her lovingly raised bee hives. Here’s to you Aubrey!
