We went to see the exhibit “Fabric of a Nation” at The Frist Art Museum in Nashville yesterday. Beautiful pieces!! A few are shown in this post. Have any of you been to this exhibit?

Look what I discovered…. A featured coverlet by an unknown weaver/ manufacturer and I have one very very similar! Mine has slightly different colors and I have the bonus of the dates woven into mine. When I turned the corner and saw the display, I couldn’t believe it!!

Love seeing American textiles and learning a little more each day about their history.
