MONASTERY.tree.trio .....4 20 23.................... HOLY.GHOST ...................................................................... is on the western edge of our hillside,
in Brighton. Which is always buffeted, especially by winter's winds ever since these three beech trees beside the monastery's old cemetery.
Now starts downhill right after all those twenty odd tall old spruce trees hung high with several sculptured plaques for each Station Of The Cross, are now all well above eye level. ###XX .......They've Surrounded by Faith a flat area at least two tennis courts wide with by waist high rosary chain of a few huge iron links between every ten all these every needed football sized cement beads circling in groups of ten then ending up with a tangle to a ten foot tall crucifix........ All this in a two tennis court sized lawn, an
impressively wide tall hedge before their cemetery where the oldest brother's birth dates I'd find on grave stones were from the 1850s.
................... This study of the third beech,
a great old, wide, tenacious, tattered, and
every spring since, a still surviving beech
of a three tree rhythms to cemetery stairs
of Father, Son, the holy rosary's tall crucifix
ends a beaded dangle of cement footballs. .................... and it to two score or more of
my taller strides to walk all the way around
its knobby roots and lowest limbs of this
Holied Ghost's twisting trunk, mushrooms
in dank crotches, with germinating nexts.
