Shady Grove Pickings A small, but growing, business selling handmade jewelry from our “pickings" along the coast of Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

The inspiration to create came from a childhood fostered by artistic family influence and their eye for finding the unsuspecting beauty of found and foraged objects. Our beach combing treasures of rocks, sticks and glass were always more than just that. I would love to one day spend the entirety of my working life transforming my treasures into something both beautiful and functional. My goal is to be able to share my art with those who harbor a love of color, design, and of course, the ocean.

Another winter has come and gone ✨

Market season approaches and I can’t believe I have to get myself back out there this weekend! has a fun new location and I’m ready for a day out with some amazing people ♥️

It’s been a crazy spring over here, trying to buy a house in this crazy market, prepping for our new chicks 🐥, getting the gardens ready/keeping all the seedling babes alive inside, all while losing every weekend to the weather ⛈️

But I still managed to prep a good back stock as well as a few new pieces for the upcoming events and I’m ready to kick off the season! ✨

I won’t go on and on about the trials and tribulations of this past year, but I can say that my life is finally starting to find balance again 🌊

Also, I’ve decided that this platform seems to be my sinking point. Every time I try and get back to regular posting on here is when I start to feel myself getting burnt out by trying to keep up or frustrated that I really don’t have much to say 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve seen SO much talk about this app not being what it used to and have personally talked to so many others who are struggling with it as well.

I’ve decided to just start posting photos, no fancy captions, just sharing my art, the way I wish. I’ll try and post updates on here as much as I can, but really I would like to just focus on my jewelry as much as possible these days ✨ she deserves it 🌊

Charm necklaces have been flooding my social feeds recently so I had to jump on the trend 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was obsessed with charm bracelets as a kid and always remember going into our local jewelry shop constantly trying to find to find little silver figurines that represented my little self and all of my favorite things ✨✨✨

I was hoping to pull together a valentines update in my shop, but life got in the way 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve been helping out with some of my favorite little kiddos in and outside of school so of course I’m getting over my like 10th sickness in the last few weeks 🫠

I’ve also been finalizing my wholesale catalog for this year, so feel free to reach out if you’re interested in selling any of my items or know of anyone who might be interested!
