Then vs. now 🩷
A lot of people don’t realize that 851 is a small family business.
If you didn’t know, my husband, Nick, left his career to join 851 full-time. It’s a leap we’ve been working toward for over a decade, but the truth is, he’s been integral part of building this business since day one.
And if I’m being honest, making the decision to put everything we have into this together was terrifying and something at times, I resisted.
Because it’s not just about us anymore. We have two little ones watching us chase this dream, and a team of incredible women who count on this business for their livelihoods. That’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly.
But when I look back at where we started, I’m reminded that we’ve always been building something together. Long before the storefronts, the team, or the business you see today, it was just the two of us believing in something we couldn’t quite see yet.
There’s still so much we’re figuring out, and so much we hope to build. But getting to do this alongside my best friend makes it worth it.
