It's September, which means it's officially Sapphire month! 🎨

September's birthstone, sapphire, and July's birthstone, ruby, are both the gem quality varieties of the mineral corundum; the color is what determines whether a stone is classified as a ruby or a sapphire.

Rubies are red, and while most people associate sapphire with its popular deep blue color, sapphires occur in every color except for red!

Let’s talk about how gold prices affect our pricing! 💰

You’ve probably heard us mention this before: the price of gold has more than doubled in the last two years. When we price a piece, we try to keep it reflective of what gold cost when we made it, not what it costs today.

Here’s a perfect example: two flexi bangles, both 14k gold with 0.32 ctw of natural diamonds:
🤍 White gold flexi bangle — the last one left from a 2024 batch, priced at $1,625
💛 Yellow gold flexi bangle — brand new, priced at today’s gold market: $2,300

These bangles have the same quality and craftsmanship. The difference is simply that they were produced at different moments in the gold market, as reflected by the $675 difference in price.

Everyone deserves to own quality jewelry, which is why we hold onto older pricing as long as we can. Get this 2024 flexi bangle before it’s gone!

Custom solitaire pendant necklace for Jamie ✨💚

Jamie came to us with this natural emerald-cut emerald and a vision for a custom necklace. We built a 14k yellow gold pendant in a classic solitaire design, with details that make it unique: a faux bezel, claw prongs, an airline opening on three sides, and a rabbit ear bail to complete the look. Strung on a 1 mm cable chain, Jamie's pendant is an instant classic and so vibrant 🫶

We had the pleasure of custom creating all three of Kacee & Jeff's rings 🥰 We designed, sourced diamonds for, and brought to life the following:
🤍 A round solitaire diamond engagement ring in platinum and a matching round diamond platinum eternity band for Kacee💍
🤍 A 7 mm platinum wedding band with a hammered satin finish for Jeff 🔨

Lastly, Kacee wore a pair of 18k white gold bezel set diamond drop earrings that she purchased from us to complete her bridal look 👰🏼‍♀️

It’s that time of year already: back to school! 📚✏️

My son, Noah, is starting his junior year at Notre Dame, so it’s only fitting to share these antique cufflinks that just came in 🍀

Made in 18k yellow gold and featuring four leaf clover motifs, the cufflinks feature INCREDIBLE green and white guilloché enamel. In addition to the enamel, each cufflink features a sparkling rose cut diamond at its center!
