This ring took the road-trip idea a little too literally. ๐ฌ๐
It belonged to our clientโs late father, who dreamed of traveling the world. Today, his son wears it on his own travels so his father can still see the world with him.
Then one day, a box was accidentally left on top of a car, its contents spilled onto the road, and the ring disappeared. When he returned to search, it was the only item he found...but it had already been run over and nearly flattened.
Not to worry. We can fix that. The damage was too severe for a standard repair, our goldsmiths salvaged the original top, rebuilt the prongs, provided and set new diamonds, and blended it into a completely new shank. Now this meaningful ring is ready to keep traveling (inside the car instead of on top of it), and carry more memories along for every new journey.๐
