11 years. Let that sink in. I had to.

11 years ago, I did something I rarely do, take a chance on ME. Honestly, I wasn't sure I'd make it 11 weeks, much less 11 years. And yet, here I am.

Trust me, it hasn't been all glamour and roses. There are those who boast a straight shot to the top, but that isn't my testimony . It has been a long, hard fought for ascent, with many steps backwards and sideways along the way. There were days I felt completely clueless, lost, scared, and like a complete failure. But then there were those days when I saw my hard work pay off, when I exceeded my own expectations, when momentum catapulted me to new heights. Most special were the moments when I saw the impact made on customers, team members, fellow consultants, and then my family. Those wins far outweigh the losses, and each loss and setback taught me something that I needed for the levels ahead.

What the next 11 years have in store, I do not know. Change is a constant guarantee, and this season has been filled with them. I'm changing, my why has changed, the business has changed, customers have changed. And those changes require me to question everything, and figure out how I want to show up in this business every day. What I do know is that I love this business. I love what I have built. I love the people I've been connected with through this gamble on myself. So as long as God allows, Lasting Impression Accessories will be here. We may look different, operate differently, and navigate this industry differently. But we'll be here. I hope you will be, too!💕

I get it. Some days, I just don't want to do it, either. Don't want to get up, don't want to put on "the mask," don't want to deal with whatever life inevitably will throw my way. But I remember that when I check out to avoid the bad, I also miss out on the good. So, I've learned to assess whether I'm resting or hiding. If I truly need rest, I rest. But if I'm simply hiding from some "hard" in my life, I press on through. And I lean into all the good coming my way to get me through the rest. I find that the good always outweighs the bad, and I'm glad I didn't deny myself the chance for good in my life.

It's Monday, beautiful people. Get up, show up, and don't you ever, EVER give up! 😘

Today's trip to Columbia, SC was the inaugural trip of our newest addition to the business, our new trailer!
