After your design session Elichai gets to work gathering the all the additional elements needed to execute your design. In this case, only brightest and most perfectly matched yellow diamonds will work.
He spends hours working with our diamond dealers to find the stones that will most perfectly compliment this design. They know that Elichai requires the best and they have learned over the years to send us their reserve gems. Not everyone gets trusted to see these stones. Elichai has done a great job finding the best sources in the industry and earning their trust.
Here is a sneak peek of what that stone selection process looks like. Each of these stones comes in its own envelope or ziplock.
Colored diamonds are rare and very valuable so every envelope is marked with its specific carat weight, measurement, grading, and color intensity. Each stone has a different value and each stone has a diamond dealer. It's very rare that we gather all the stones he needs from one diamond dealer. He must stay focused to keep all these stones organized and in the right packages after he’s done inspecting and considering them for his upcoming masterpiece. In order to be selected for a design a stone must meet Elichai's rigorous standards and if they aren't chosen, they get sent back.
These moments of contemplation are the difference between an average outcome and extraordinary one.

Over the years, our clients have taught us some of what they value most about our jewelry creating process. Here are some quick observations.
1) They love our one-on-one approach. They love arriving at their appointment and getting our undivided attention. These moments are so precious to the design process. They are often our first introduction to their dream or vision.
2) They love the collaborative design process. It’s a creative date and experience all its own. They arrive full of anticipation of arrival of their ideas on paper. It’s inspiring to watch Elichai draw their design in real time. He often grabs his sketchbook as they describe what they are hoping their new jewels will look, feel and express and starts to put pencil to their idea as they are talking. There is an ease in the banter as their ideas get parlayed across the table.
3) They love options! Some clients are happy with the very first design Elichai draws for them, and others want to see options: different colors, stones, shapes, sizes, patterns. They love the opportunity to make changes as the design develops on the page. They love how responsive Elichia’s design process it. They love it when Elichai gets a bonus inspiration and adds a detail to make their jewelry even more special.

Twenty-five years ago, we were just two kids dreaming. The dream was simple: build world-class jewelry in a way that allowed us to raise our family in the place we love. Our children are now young men pioneering their own paths and we are trekking forward with another dimension of our dream: to travel the world to acquire gems at their source. In other words, becoming your gemstone concierge.
Our most recent journey to Colombia, S.A. was a big step on that path. We got to wander the path of our family’s story, (Elichai’s dad was born and raised in Colombia), and we also got to learn about sourcing emeralds and meet many incredible people in the gem industry. For almost an entire week Elichai met miners, gemologists, gem cutters, investors, and gem dealers from all over the world in the Emerald Trade Center in Bogota, Colombia.
While he is already a Graduate Gemologist and has spent hundreds of hours honing his gem skills there is simply nothing that compares to sitting at the tables of the emerald masters. He got a advanced course in emerald selection and valuation.
We had a short list of clients that asked us to find them the best emeralds for their projects. And we hope, as we continue to show you our emeralds and our client’s projects, you will be inspired to add your name to our list for our next gem trip!

I bought this wonderful .77ct natural intense pink diamond at one of the last Argyle Diamond Tenders ever(by invitation only) the Argyle mine in Australia produced the best pinks in the world but is now mined out and has been closed since 2021. This is not a ring...this is a hinge bracelet!
Elichai loves to engrave and has a special engraving style called relief engraving. Relief engraving is when he carves the metal like you'd carve wood, removing the metal to elevate and create the engraved design. Inside the bracelet, the part we call the under carriage, are hidden details like her initials, a bezel set Yogo sapphire, and other love notes that only she and her beloved know. Can you believe we can build something this stunning in silver? This is beauty features a band of diamonds across the center and an ornate undercarriage.
