Most if not everyone, even seasoned Christians, struggle with their own thoughts, and have to fight battles within their minds.

The moment a negative thought arises, it needs to be dealt with quickly to keep it from leading to sin, and dwelling on the thought is not what keeps it out.

Instead, we must quickly turn our attention elsewhere, and what better place to turn to than Jesus. "He is the center of everything good and pure".
