In spirituality, the soul (Ātman / Jīva) is seen as the eternal, divine essence within us — the part that never dies, never decays, and remains untouched by worldly ups and downs. 🌸✨
Here’s how the soul is understood in spiritual ways:
🔹 Eternal & Pure – The soul is beyond birth and death. Bodies change, but the soul remains immortal.
🔹 Divine Spark – It is a fragment of the Supreme Divine (Brahman, Paramatma, God) within us.
🔹 True Self – Spirituality teaches that we are not the body or mind; we are the soul experiencing life through them.
🔹 Witness & Guide – The soul silently observes everything, like a light that shines but is never stained by what happens around it.
🔹 Journey of Liberation – Through practices like Jaapam, meditation, prayer, and devotion, the soul slowly frees itself from karmic bo***ge and moves towards moksha (liberation).
🔹 Unity – All souls are interconnected, part of one cosmic consciousness. Realizing this brings compassion and oneness.
🌿 A beautiful line often quoted in the Gita:
"The soul is eternal, it is never born and never dies. Weapons cannot cut it, fire cannot burn it, water cannot wet it, and wind cannot dry it."
"I am not the body, I am not the mind — I am the eternal Soul, pure and divine. Through Jaapam, I connect to my true self, the spark of the Supreme." 📿🌿
