Rooted in a love of fashion, an appreciation of art and a passion for the planet, Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show is an annual fundraising event for REALMS Charter School’s Arts Program. Started in 2010, this fundraiser features an eclectic, wearable art runway show (featuring both trash fashion and re-fashioned garments), a live and silent auction, a gallery style marketplace (where contributing
local artists sell and showcase their work), and local food and drink. The Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show showcases how we “fashion” our lives while lessening waste. There two shows that feature garments created by local artists, designers, businesses, and students (first show only). Each show costs $10.00 (adults) and $6.00 (children under 12).
1st Show - 6pm (all ages)
2nd Show - 8pm (21 and over)
Rubbish Renewed Eco Fashion Show fuses environmental responsibility, funky fashion and community. Join other socially conscious individuals for an evening of sustainable fashion, showcasing styles that the future demands. We invite you to reconsider the value of trash and celebrate the creative, sustainable spirit of Bend. Re-fashion: made from previously used garments and fabric, refashioning tattered, old stuff into stylish new gems
