I found this White-faced Meadowhawk caught in an abandoned spider’s web, She was high up under a picnic table pavilion. I threw a juicebox up and down came the web (after about 12 attempts 😅) with her inside it still fighting for life. Typically these beauties are quite skittish and challenging to photograph, unlike the red ruddy darters that seem to be so friendly, but after unwrapping the web I was able to pull out my macro lense and snap a few before I relocated her to a tree.
