I will just “leaf” this here.

The stone, cut into a leaf shape, is a Druzy, also named Druse, or Drusie. It is an Agate Druzy commonly found in Geodes where water/moisture, in the Geode, begin to evaporate and deposit minerals that form crystals along the surface of the agate.

The setting, I fabricated, is 14K gold and can be worn as a pendant, or brooch.

I haven't posted in a while, life has kicked me in the ass lately, but I am still working on stuff I love to do. Recently, I made friends of the family (they feel like extended family) wedding bands. I did not create the engagement ring. The bride's wedding band was made with white gold to match the engagement ring and diamonds from her Grandmother's ring. The groom's band is yellow gold with a hammered texture.

I have been on many journeys in my life, but none have been more fulfilling than my journey with my wife, my kids and my jewelry work. I crafted, manufactured and repaired jewelry for 20 years, but life seems to push you in directions that you never would have thought possible. After many years, encouragement and help from my family I am once again able to do what I love.
