Simply put...The Krewe of Morning Wood is a group of people who like riding in Mardi Gras parades, throwing beads and having a cocktail or two while we're doin' it. And who are also dedicated to preserving and celebrating Mardi Gras in Spanish Town, Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

It is with a heavy heart that we bring you the sad news that original Clutch member Burt Wilson (Salvador) passed away yesterday. Burt was one of the founding members of the band and excelled in vocal arraignment, songwriting, piano, and comedy. He helped forge Clutch into the entertainment powerhouse that it became.

He will be missed sorely by fellow musicians and fans alike.
