For our family, that feels especially meaningful.

Twenty-four years ago, Elijah and I stood together and said “I do.”

Tomorrow, we’ll watch our oldest daughter, Lexi, marry Jared. ❤️

As we prepare for such a special day, we’re reminded that love has a beautiful way of growing…from two people building a life together…to a family…to new beginnings for the next generation.

We just know Donald kept quacking about the value of gold, the Earl wanted an offer on his jewelry, and the forklift operator was carefully transporting a giant pile of treasure across the parking lot. 🚜💰

🎂❤️ June 8th…and our EJ is 16 today! ❤️🎂

It’s also National Best Friends Day, which feels pretty fitting.

His best friend, Sabastian, flew in to celebrate with him, and if you’ve been around our family very long, you know Charlie has always been one of his best friends too. ❤️

Looking through these photos has us wondering where the years went.

One minute Charlie and Kameelah were dressing EJ and Sabastian up as princesses… 😆👑

The next minute they’re celebrating a 16th birthday and flying across the country to spend National Best Friends Day together. ❤️😭
