I have a pretty packed schedule for the next six months or so, and I have been thinking alot about the range of work I offer. For the past few years, I have allowed myself to create the wild and large Jewerly…Diner scenes, pro-wrestling, and backyard BBQs…and I decided to test using my illustrative style to create one singular piece inspired by an element of the larger works.
I am so lucky to have such a joyful and positive response to my work when people see it in person, and they want to join along, but I’ve never had a big selection of “gateway” pieces.
I am never going to stop making the big “stop in your tracks” pieces, but it was really fun to pump-out this range of pins and scarf or hanky bolos and a few earrings of this scale and technique.
They are big, bold, and still pretty silly, but it will be a fun experiment to see the response. I could easily come up with 100 more😎
