Summer Art Camp at is in full swing and we've been having so much fun. I'm teaching 4 weeks of metals this year and put together some new projects. Last week we made embossed foil sketchbooks using a mix of copy and construction paper for the pages and even made little pockets, then we used the hydraulic press to make spiders bodies and beaded wire for legs and webs.

There are two spaces open in my heavy bezel setting and tool making workshop next week at Learn how to cut a seat for a faceted stone and hammer set thick walled bezels as we fabricate sterling silver pendants. In addition to making your own setting punch you will create a handful of assorted design stamps that are yours to keep.

Fresh off the bench. I had a client request a few moderations to some existing styles. We did the woodgrain textured ring in 18k white gold in a thicker stock to make it a comfort fit and used the scrap to do the rivet detail on the silver band so he has something to wear when he doesn't want to wear the gold one.
