India agate is a natural stone, so the swirl runs differently in every piece, some lean green, some lean mauve or gray, and no two bracelets match exactly. Seven is sacred in Nepal’s own traditions, from the seven steps Buddha is said to have taken at birth in Lumbini to the seven chakras in yogic practice. We built it with that number on purpose.

Direct Relief has worked in Nepal for over 40 years and has already delivered more than $119 million in medical aid there, so when this flood hit, they weren’t starting from scratch, they had supplies pre-positioned and were treating patients within hours. Every dollar we send through them for this response goes only to this response. GlobalGiving works differently but just as directly, it funnels flexible funding to small, local Nepali organizations already on the ground in Rasuwa and the hardest-hit villages, the people who know the roads, the terrain, and the families who need help most. Together they cover both ends of what a real response needs, immediate medical care and long-term, community-led recovery.
