One of my very favorite services to provide is ear piercing for Littles.

I LOVE talking to children about ear piercing, taking the scary out of the process and helping them feel more in control of their own body. We discuss bravery and permission and even rites of passage. I believe it’s important to get down to eye level with each of my little clients to help them feel heard.

While I can pierce any age, I recommend parents wait until their Little One is excited to get their ears pierced and are old enough to understand what will happen. This is sometimes as early as 5 years old, however some kiddos feel more comfortable waiting until they’re double digits. I won’t tell your child it won’t hurt, but I do tell them it’s only a small pinch and won’t hurt as bad as their brain says it will.

When it comes down to it, I NEVER pierce anyone without their consent. (No matter how much Mom or Dad says it’s okay 😬😜)
