Meet Jim and Eulalia Hill, the couple behind a little piece of Kruger’s history. 💕
We recently posted their ring from the 1930’s, now we get to meet the couple themselves.
The Fort Worth couple married in 1936. Jim bought Eulalia this ring from Kruger’s, and more than 85 years later, their granddaughter brought it back to us in its original Kruger’s box.
Jim was well known around Fort Worth. He owned a produce company, owned semi-pro baseball teams in the city, played baseball for the Cleburne Oilers, and played football at Baylor. He and Eulalia made their home in Arlington Heights.
After we shared their ring, their granddaughter was kind enough to send us this wonderful photo of the two of them and tell us a little more about their lives.
We love getting to put faces, and a story, to a piece of Kruger’s history. 💫
