Hello SolCatcher fans! It’s been too long since I posted or created! I am in the process of creating a new site and hope to have a lot of new SolCatchers to display ASAP!
Please remember that you can order your custom made SolCatcher anytime! Most of the custom pieces are family trees. I use the birthstone color of each family member to represent each person. All you need to do is send me the individuals’ birthday (month & day) who they are (mom, sister, brother etc) and a bit about each person (that’s the hard part!) If I have just a few sentences that sum up the individual, I am better able to pick out the right piece of glass.
I will keep you posted throughout the process and send you a pic bf I wire everything together. If you don’t like it, I can change it so you are happy.
Price is about $10 per piece of glass, $10-15 for beads. If I have the actual birthstone I will use it. If not, I will use one that is the same color & has the same metaphysical properties. And $25-$50 for labor. Once I know exactly what you need, I can give you a more exact price.
I do require 1/2 up before I begin creating it because a few bad apples have left me no alternative. Once the piece is finished, I will require the rest of the payment. Please use PayPal goods and services option for payment. It protects both of us and although there is a fee required on my behalf, I accept that as the price of doing business and as I said, it’s protection for both of us.
I offer free shipping on items over $40, not including tax and limited to the contiguous 48 US states. I’ve yet to have a family tree that didn’t meet those criteria. If you have brothers and/or sisters, get together to give mom something that will make her cry (in a good way!) Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. Each certificate will be on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper (for framing.) It explains the meaning of “SolCatcher,” a listing of the bead names & metaphysical meanings, and who requisitioned the piece. It will have the unique family name & member’s names but will not include the price. I will also include the date, reason (if requested) and anything else you ask.
Each time I have created a family tree, I get a sense of the dynamics of the family and will add beads to represent that. I consider it a huge honor on behalf of the family as I am invited to (for but a small period of time) be in your most valued and sacred space a person can have. Whether it is your family of origin, a blended family or your chosen family, it is the most important and sacred space. I like to post the end piece with a description of the pieces using pseudonyms but ONLY with your permission. I am trying to add a page of “adoptions” as each piece is now a part of the family. I have only 3 requests;
1. A picture of the piece where it is being displayed.
2. That when asked about it, you refer them to me
3. If you post a picture of it, you include a link to my site (SolCatchers.NET - not .com. If you find yourself on a page asking you to sign up, you’re on the wrong page. I don’t believe in putting a barrier between my pieces and my customers! 😂)
