Being born in the worn torn ‘40s and having come of age in the psychedelic ‘60’s, brings a deep range of experiences to my work. Having been a potter during my psychedelic years, Jewelry making, especially working with Precious Metal Clay, adds a new dimension as well as continuity to my artistic repertoire. There is just something satisfying about getting your hands dirty. I am drawn to things un

refined, textural and organic in appearance. I like it when things look a little imperfect; the imperfection being what is perfect. Even the walls in my house serve as a canvas to my creative urges. My muse leads me where I need to go to gratify my creative needs so my look, if it has a ‘signature’ is diverse and eclectic. Then, there are the days when I yearn for the order of formality and symmetry and those urges are reflected in my work as well. The offspring have flown the nest so after 35 years of tenured service as a parent I am now free to indulge my creative muses with more time and energy.
