My friend Hazel came up with a design for a necklace that I made for New Hope, Inc.'s Moonlit Wine, Beer and Food Tasting Gala on January 26th. New Hope works throughout Massachusetts to build an anti-violence movement to end sexual and domestic violence. One of the ways in which they raise money for their efforts is through fundraisers, and the Gala is by far my favorite. Our pendant will be auctioned at this event and 100% of the funds will go to supporting the valuable work that they do. I have been working on a piece I will donate to New Hope, Inc.'s Fundraiser in January (to be included in a silent auction). In the end I decided to collaborate with the WONDERFUL Hazel Guindon to design something amazing for them- so that's to come, but in the meantime I have been so inspired by the importance of their work in our community!
