Earlier this year, we sourced an antique bar brooch — the kind that’s been hiding in someone’s jewelry box for decades, waiting to be redesigned. We didn’t know exactly what it would become, but we knew the natural pearls were too good to stay hidden.

One of our favorite long-time clients came to us wanting something custom for Mother’s Day, and we knew exactly where those pearls belonged.

Brooches have been having a moment — showing up on lapels, scarves, and necklines in ways that feel fresh, exciting and new — and we’d been itching to make one. This felt like the moment!

We hand-carved the design in wax, creating a floral silhouette that could carry the weight of those pearls without competing with them. Delicate where it needed to be, substantial where it mattered. When it came back to us finished, we were in love. A modern, yet timeless jewelry staple to celebrate motherhood.

p.s. we still have some pearls left from the brooch… what should we create next?

2 years later and Sue was still thinking about our scallop napkin rings — as a new wedding ring.

We first met Sue at an event with our dear friends around the launch of our Scape tabletop line. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, she came back into our lives looking for a ring to replace her original wedding stack. With a desire for something simple and no-fuss, we noodled on designs for this “grown-up wedding stack” and landed here — a solid gold band with great weight and a scalloped edge, just like those beloved napkin rings.

Tailored perfectly to her finger, we couldn’t be happier with how this turned out.

And let this be your reminder: no one gets to tell you what your wedding stack should look like. No stones? One ring? No biggie — and just as beautiful and special.

Some projects genuinely stop us in our tracks! We had the joy of meeting K here in Atlanta and working with her to reimagine her wedding stack — one she hadn’t been able to wear following two finger surgeries. With her 20th anniversary coming up later this year, the timing felt perfect. She fell in love with our signature wide cigar band look, and together we redesigned something truly celebratory — using her original engagement ring stones alongside some beautiful new diamonds to create this perfectly scattered, one-of-a-kind ring to replace the original wedding stack. We were overjoyed to see K’s reaction when she first put it on!

When something catches your eye and just stays on your heart and mind, you just have to go for it! Macy kept coming back to a custom project we shared at the beginning of this year, and eventually she listened to that feeling. We brought her vision to life with this custom diamond scatter pendant, and we are *obsessed* with the way it catches the light on this gorgeous 18” thick rope chain.
