My Webex: https://artdefyinggems.my.webex.com/meet/VWSN My mom is a professional seamstress who would also hand make everything for use in our home. Mom worked at J C Penny's making catalog ordered draperies but she also made upholstery, jewelry, hats, purses, quilts, blankets,

knits, she could draw and paint, all of our clothing...you name it.. she could do it... Thus, as a child I played endlessly with fabrics, needles, tassels, tassels and did I say tassels...colors, patterns, textures, yarn, thimbles, colored pencils, wood, tacks, thread, sketches, drawings, and sewing machine parts. My mom is the greatest inspiration of my life and she turned me on to jewelry making in 2010. I have been making jewelry every since. I started out wire wrapping then I went to the Spruill Arts Center here in Atlanta, Georgia to learn the art of the Metalsmith and attended a Bench Jewelry Workshop at Stuller's in Lafayette, LA. I love to make art that is wearable using semi-precious gemstones, precious metals, and mixed media. My wearable art and fine jewelry collection defines who we are so wear it - live it!" Sometimes you just got to do nothing..I remember as a child during a bad storm mom would make us sit in the hallway with blankets....could not use the phone...or plsy...just do nothing. There is a huge lighting storm going right now here in the ATL, GA at my house.. Think I'll just sit back and listen to the 🌧 rain ... and watch the cats...🐈 play...💯👌
