I’ve gotten to work with some real gems along the way and I wanna share their awesomeness. This one was no different with Rachel who I met at the skate park with our tiny humans🤘🏽. She’s got all the style 🔥 and she has a practice of artwork that shows her journey. Working in 2-D her paintings, drawing and photography are disarming. Her tenacity for her work is what all artists aspire to- the keep on keeping on, the making the work - it’s all beautiful and compelling. When she wanted to do the gold Seething Rage nameplate, we laughed but it does truly sum up the feelings of 2020 and on her it just looks 👌🏽🔥 Check her out .nyc

Happy Valentine's Day ♥️ I love Valentine's Day. I know, I know, a lot of people think it's just a silly hallmark holiday but for myself, it's a day I think about all the people in my life that are my crew and the people I've met along the way. ♥️ Anybody that actually knows me, knows that my path growing up was fraught with a pretty high level of dysfunction in my family. 🤪 But! I wouldn't change any of it, at this point (haha) as it's given me the value I put on my friends, my own little family and the regard I hold for my art. In this studio I've been lucky enough to create some really special objects for people where there is always a sentiment of love in some part of it. Over the years, I thank you all for giving me the chance to realize special pieces where I get to witness their power and significance in love. These two bands one a friendship ring, and the other a wedding band both carry a similar symbol of love. Hand carved and cast in 14k they are built to wear and ride along the ups and downs of everyday ♥️

This wedding band made by a true beauty mama for her love ♥️♥️ Lucky to know this amazing couple who both create beautiful art on the daily.✨ A ring of palladium, which is a rare and lustrous fine metal that has a steely tone of grey. Hand carved and cast in this molten metal to make a continuous ring - with no beginning and no end. It has a texture of fine scratches and hammering similar to life and love, with a perfect band of 14k gold inlay running through it. The sides of it not perfectly smooth because in that organic texture lies the beauty, with the line of smooth gold always there bringing it all together. Biggest love to these 2 amazing rockstars ♥️♥️

Pendants that were hand carved so that they have a good weight and feel to them, and thick enough to hold their own heat, the gold warming to the skin. ✨ These amulets of gold, stamped with initials and birthstones designed by her partner and made to be worn close to the heart of a very special Mama.♥️Two awesome little people represented with an emerald that I got awhile ago from a trip to Africa and a blue zircon from a special family of gem dealers. Each with its own power and beauty just like how these Mama’s do it all. 🤘🏽 This piece was so much fun to make, and even better that we pulled off the surprise 🤪♥️

For auld lang syne boils down to “for (the sake of) old times”. We all mumble through it! It celebrates and calls for preserving our oldest and dearest friendships. Those friendships that have seen you through all your weirdnesses. The New Years of yore used to be times when we’d have a big party with all our crew, where things would happen that have created legends that we’re still laughing about 🤪 A comradery that felt like we were in an Irish dive bar where everyone spontaneously starts singing drinking songs. This year is muchhhhh more quiet but thinking about all the friend family and the new friends and adventures of 2021. That elated feeling of comradeship comes in different things these days and I’m sure grateful for all the people that I’ve gotten to meet, make some really cool pieces with and hang with.
From my crew to yours peace out 2021 and on to the next one!! It’s rule. ♥️

How do we hold onto the moments that seem so big at that moment but are fleeting by in nano seconds. The times that have become pieces of us and who we see ourselves as in the world. The importance of taking those visions and feelings that are just little bit shinier. The ones that flash in our minds with feelings of contentment and being completely present in the moment. Be it marking something you worked so hard for or the biggest role change in life of becoming a parent, talismans hold their space. This little dog tag waiting for it’s engraving wanders with you garnering all the moments after and can be created with as many tags as you need ✨
