Come visit the new gallery and shop local this holiday season. I was only one of many artists who suffered losses last year due to the hurricane and flooding. Bluebird Designs is located inside Ignite Jewelry Studios (my other business) and there is a vast selection of jewelry here, both Bluebird Designs as well as the work of many other local and regional artists. Come support ! (and if you come this Friday during the holiday event you can also gran something sweet:)

Tiny Birds! These pieces look great worn high on the neckline and when layering multiple necklaces. Life's still been pretty full on with settling back into operating Ignite Jewlery Studios and Bluebird Designs from the new downtown Asheville location.

But I'm getting a little time to be creative and I fell in love with these tiny bird necklaces...... and yes they really are quite tiny. More pics and info on how to purchase to come!

Foot traffic data from the Asheville Downtown Association shows that business is down since Hurricane Helene.

I'm really loving the new studio and gallery space! The last 9 months have brought so many challenges, but also shown me so many examples of beauty and kindness. I will be forever grateful to the individuals and nonprofits that provided me with the funding to re-open Bluebird Designs and Ignite Jewelry Studios in the new downtown location. My deepest gratitude and thanks to all those that donated to the GoFund Me, a private angel donor, and also to GEM Global Empowerment Mission, ArtsAVL, and CERF+ for the grants I received. Plus the friends and family that helped in so many ways to get both my businesses and family through such a tough time.

I'd still be grateful for any support including sharing the word that Bluebird Designs and Ignite Jewelry Studios are back and open for business (Tues-Sat 11-4), taking a workshop (there's some new ones loaded and lots more to come, including a Friday night maker night), purchasing any of the unique and handmade jewelry featured in the gallery by a variety of local artists and Bluebird Designs, and/or online orders and any other means of support. Asheville's economy is still facing many challenges but I am confident in its ability to fully recover and thrive once more. If you are in a position to help in any way please support the local businesses that make our city the extraordinary place it is.
