Heads up to to those in our area who work with power equipment. Chainsaws, blowers, w**d eaters, etc. we have had several friends and customers who have been hit the last few weeks in some cases wiping out everything. We, along with most reputable pawn shops belong to a voluntary program with the sheriffs dept called leads online. Everything we take in is sent electronically to them at the end of every day. Make sure you write down your serial numbers. This is usually the only way to identify stolen items. Contrary to the reputation of pawn shops, No business with a moral compass wants to take in stolen items. It not only hurts the victims but we also lose money.
