Some recent snaps from the sketchbook… ✏️ The earliest stages of a custom piece are often my favorite, loose ideas, evolving shapes, notes in the margins, and the first conversations that begin turning inspiration into something tangible.

So much of the design process starts here, long before a stone is set or metal is shaped. I love seeing how these initial sketches eventually grow into deeply personal pieces made to be worn for years to come. If you’ve been thinking about starting something custom, this is where it begins. 💫

It’s officially pearl season! 🤍

As one of June’s birthstones, pearls always feel especially fitting this time of year. I love the way Buoy pearl necklaces and bracelets bring together that timeless softness with a relaxed coastal feel, easy layering, and luminous summer light.

Some pieces are collected all at once. Others are gathered slowly, added over time as reminders of places, seasons, and moments you want to hold onto a little longer.

The Souvenir Charm collection was inspired by coastal symbols tied to memory and the small details that become part of your personal story. Shells, oysters, starfish, waves, and other keepsakes are designed to be layered together in a way that feels entirely your own. 🌊

I love the idea of charms becoming a wearable record of where you’ve been, what you’ve loved, and the experiences that stay with you long after summer ends. ✨

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the quieter parts of the process, the polishing, refining, adjusting, and small details that happen long before a finished piece ever makes it into the showroom. ✨

So much of the work at my bench is slow and hands-on, moving between tools, stones, sketches, and moments of problem solving that shape the final piece in ways most people never get to see. I love these in-between stages just as much as the finished jewelry because they hold all the care, attention, and intention that go into making something meant to last. 💍

There’s something I love about the way curved bands interact when stacked together, especially when repeating pear shapes begin to create a rhythm across the hand. The pear diamond band and pear sapphire band each bring their own movement, but together the curves feel almost wave‑like, shifting between softness, balance, and structure. 🌊

Rather than feeling perfectly matched, the trio works as a sculptural composition, each ring responding to the next through shape, spacing, and light. ✨

Mid-year always feels like a natural moment to pause and reflect on what’s taking shape, what’s shifting, and what you want to carry forward into the season ahead. Lately I’ve been thinking about the symbolism we attach to certain stones, not just for their beauty, but for the feeling they hold. 💎

Coral for vitality and energy. Pearls for wisdom gathered over time. Sapphire for clarity and steadiness. Emerald for growth and renewal.

I love the idea of jewelry becoming part of that intention setting process, small personal reminders worn every day that quietly reconnect you to what matters most. ✨

What’s been on my bench lately ✨

I’ve been moving between a few very different custom projects, each one starting from a completely different place but all rooted in the same idea of turning something meaningful into something wearable.

Here's one example: Amy’s jewelry reset began with heirloom stones and became a new three-stone ring that holds those pieces in a fresh way.

Every custom project involves different stories, different approaches, but all connected by conversation and intention. 💎

Taking a look inside the vault… 💎 I’ve been spending time with a selection of loose gemstones, each one carefully set aside and waiting for the right moment to become something more. I love this part of the process, where you can see the raw potential in each stone and begin to imagine what it might become.

If something catches your eye, it’s the perfect starting point for a custom piece designed just for you!
