A new collection always begins with the stones. 💎

Lately, I have been spending time with a selection of diamonds from Australia's famed Argyle mine, studying their character, color, and the details that make each one unique. With the mine now closed, these diamonds have become increasingly limited, making them an especially meaningful foundation for the work currently taking shape on my bench.

The designs are still coming together, but these remarkable stones are already guiding the direction of the collection. I cannot wait to share more as it develops and give you a first look at what will be launching later this month. ✨

A study in sapphires…💙 There is something about sapphires that always feels like a reset. Their color can shift from deep, inky blues to lighter ocean tones, carrying a sense of calm, depth, and clarity that feels especially fitting for the season ahead.

I am drawn to the way sapphires reflect the landscape around us, echoing coastal waters, summer skies, and changing light throughout the day. They have a quiet presence that feels both grounding and expansive, making them a stone I return to again and again. ✨

Birthday reflections 🎂

Another year around the sun and I find myself thinking less about milestones and more about the steady rhythm of making, meeting clients, and watching ideas take shape at the bench and in the showroom.

I am grateful for the trust behind every custom piece, the conversations that turn into sketches, and the small moments in the showroom that remind me why I love this work in the first place. It all builds quietly, one piece at a time, into something much larger than any single design.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the quieter parts of the process, the polishing, refining, adjusting, and small details that happen long before a finished piece ever makes it into the showroom. ✨

So much of the work at my bench is slow and hands-on, moving between tools, stones, sketches, and moments of problem solving that shape the final piece in ways most people never get to see. I love these in-between stages just as much as the finished jewelry because they hold all the care, attention, and intention that go into making something meant to last. 💍
