I have been in flux traveling from Minnesota to San Rafael California for New Living Expo, through  San Francisco, Sonoma, and up into Mount Shasta. Not a lot of time and stability to relax into jewelry making, might make some today here at a picnic table in Dunsmuir. I learned about myself if I wanna relax I stay at home, when I travel it’s for exploration and adventure. I could just sit here for an hour watching this little caterpillar crawl across the fireplace lip, watching the ravens land on electrical posts, children running off through the Lodging park, the breeze is blowing the grasses and the leaves. These are the sweet moments for me where I feel peace and connection.

Last night I started a copper Flower Agate piece, and today I rode my bike across town to the Cameron Art Museum to work on it.

They’re open late tonight, and I’ve been trying out new places to create — seeing what feels good, what works, what flows.

Right now I’m out in the courtyard.
It’s a little chilly, there are a few sirens going off here and there… but the sunshine is perfect.

No special lighting needed. Just natural light, the piece in front of me, and the feeling of being in it.

The sun on my back feels good.
I’ll probably move inside later when it cools down, but for now — this is working.

Just keeping at it and building a collection for this weekend 👇

I still remember the first time I saw Pietersite in Sedona…first next They didn’t just catch the light — they moved it!

This stone carries a natural chatoyancy (that glowing, cat’s-eye shimmer), like something alive inside it… shifting, flowing, revealing.

Pietersite is known as the Tempest Stone —
a guide through chaos, transformation, and inner awakening.

It doesn’t calm the storm…it helps you see clearly within it.

I knew I had to work with it!!!
So I brought some home… and wrapped a few pieces with intention.
