One House Beads Handmade jewelry and keepsakes. Specializing in beaded, wire wrapped, and hand stamped pieces ❤️ It grew from there. That jewelry sparked something in me.

My name is Amy and I love creating things in general, but I mostly enjoy creating jewelry. I have been making jewelry in some form or another since I was a little girl. My love of making jewelry probably started in the 80s when I made friendship bracelets with my sister. I would make simple beaded necklaces here and there over the years. In 2005, I went to a craft fair in Virginia and saw some bea

utiful jewelry that was, in my mind, fairly simple. I started reading books on basic jewelry making and found more instructions on the internet. I practiced these techniques and always kept an open mind on learning new things from different people. Since then I have created the kinds of wireworked and beaded pieces that I sell on my website. You can find the shop at www.onehousebeads.com. I use quality stones, pearls, beads, and metals in all of my pieces. I make everything myself and take pride in each and every piece. Oh my goodness, I thought I posted this the other day! 🤦🏻‍♀️ That about sums up this time of the year for me! I’m closing down for the season on Wednesday the 11th. I’ll open back up after Christmas. I am going to try to have a big end of the year sale too. So look out for that!

Some people ask for variations to include pets and their faces always light up when talking about their loved ones. It’s such a wonderful feeling to know that someone is gifting some thing that I made special for them ☺️

I AM IN LOVE WITH NECKLACE! While it’s a bit more substantial in size than my regular pieces, it is so beautiful in person. The details are just perfection.

It is a pewter pendant on a sterling silver chain that I oxidized. There are flashes of purple and green coloring that came out on the chain from the oxidation which were kind of an accident but in the words of Bob Ross…they were a happy little accident.
