🚨 UPDATE: Western Alaska Disaster Relief — Donation Guidance
Just off the phone with the Association of Village Council Presidents (AVCP) in Bethel:
- The ask is to please STOP donating used items at this time — both within Bethel and outside of Bethel.
- Bethel is currently inundated with donations and cannot take any more used items.
Quyana to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity has been incredible!
AVCP will accept NEW items only, which can be sent via Lynden.
📦 Please box and clearly label the top of each box with its contents.

Water, nonperishable foods, diapers, wipes, toilet paper, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, phone chargers, blankets, sleeping bags, cots, flashlights, hand wipes, totes, packing boxes, tape, sharpie markers, sticky labels, rubber gloves, paper towels, large trash bags, duffle bags, backpacks, pillows, batteries, and air mattresses with pumps.
