12 years of tattooing makeup and I'm still blown away by the transformations! No surgery needed for an eye lift effect. Just smudge-proof, sweat-proof, water-proof liner for a more youthful definition. Permanent Eyeliner is the easiest solution to waking up looking polished with no effort.

Research. Research. Research.

A beautiful soul came to me heartbroken after having previous PMU done here in the Florida Keys. I won’t sugarcoat it — her brows were poorly done by someone with very little Permanent Makeup experience. She trusted a nail tech who decided to practice microblading on her face.

As artists, this is devastating to see. No one deserves to feel embarrassed or insecure because of unethical or inexperienced work.

But here’s the truth: it is also the client’s responsibility to do their homework.

As a professional Permanent Makeup Artist, I feel obligated to educate and protect the public so situations like this become less common.

Before booking with anyone, always ask:
• To see HEALED results
• For PMU certifications
• If they are licensed and insured (legitimate businesses have state documentation)
• How many PMU procedures they’ve performed (not just years in the beauty industry)
• Client reviews

In her case, I was able to correct the color and improve the saturation beautifully — but the shape? That was more limited.

Her brows had been tattooed far outside her natural brow line and were uneven. To fully “even” them out, we would have had to go thicker… and that wasn’t the look she wanted.

So we focused on what I could control:
✔️ Neutralizing the color
✔️ Softening harsh tones
✔️ Evening out patchy pigment

Corrective work requires realistic expectations. Brows may never be “perfect,” but in most cases they can be made significantly better.

And the best part? She left feeling confident and happy — so much that we did her liner🤩
