An Image Created from Metal!
That is what my "MetalScapes" are. I draw with a coping saw. My pallette is brass, copper, and nickel colors. I texture and form metal with various tools. I use oxidation, patina, and/or pens for shading. Next thing I Know, the piece has depth and detail of a painting but it is all done with metal.
See my work at The 8th House in ABQ. Through May 30. Find this shop at 5100 Grand Ave. Julien specializes in Antique and Vintage items. he is open Fri-Sunday each weekend. He Features an artist every month. My month is May. It is a wonderful collaboration.
