.. This Saguaro variscite bolo is sold, but deserves a place on the grid. It features a stone that was one of the very first stones I bought years ago when I first started making jewelry. That rich green with black matrix and those kisses of yellow gold are unreal.. Thank you, Mother Earth. 💚🖤💛

It’s funny how we sometimes bond with inanimate things. I feel like this stone is an old friend, who has seen me evolve into the jeweler I am today. It’s just been quietly watching from its place nestled in the felt lined drawers of my stone organizer, waiting for the day that I was ready to release it from my dragon’s hoard to wrap it in silver. 😅🐉

We are in the THICK of holiday season now and yall, I am tired. Always trying to find the balance between the hustle and the rest, between the warm joy and the sticky, uncomfortable moments that holidays can bring up, between balancing the people, the love, and the scurry.

I am feeling tender with gratitude as my fiancé works on a potato leek soup for dinner tonight and I’m updating clients with tracking numbers while sitting in front of our fireplace. It is a beautiful life indeed, despite the hard moments. Sending love to you all, wherever you are in this season.✨

.. Last earring preview for the 📯Nice N Easy Collection📯 — Crescent Moon Chain Dangles! Didn’t realize until taking pictures that I had chosen primary colors for this batch.. bringing it back to old school color theory! ❤️💛💙

Each earring is a hand sawn crescent with 6” total of sterling silver rolo chain sashaying below. Lots of bits n bobs to bring these babies to life, and I just love making them. From L-R, we have some juicy garnet, glowy Mexican amber, and carved baby blue turquoise.

These earrings are super light, so they’re great for people that want to wear something other than studs or small dangles but can’t handle a lot of weight. Swipe for different lighting and videos. Apologies for the fingerprints, these will get another polish before being packed up for you all.

.. Here is the first preview for the 📯Nice N Easy Collection📯– RINGS! As always, swipe for a video to get a better look at stones and designs.

From L-R, top to bottom:

RING—Aloe variscite & Sky Song turquoise open ring (size 5 1/2 to 6, slightly adjustable) and double beaded Royston turquoise (size 7.5)

MIDDLE—Baby blue Hubei turquoise (size 4.75), creamy Aloe round with double band (size 10) and gold matrix Hubei (size 11.75)

POINTER—Simple Aloe variscite (size 6) and green-blue Hubei turquoise (size 7)

THUMB—Black onyx (size 9) and Aloe kite (size 12)

It’s always a process for me to get into the rhythm of taking product pictures in a new space, but the new backyard at our house is doing great so far. I still miss the casita I had downtown with the peeling turquoise paint on the awning over the door.. End of an era haha.

.. Excited to announce that the 📯Nice n Easy📯Collection will be live on my site on Sunday, October 19th at 2:00 pm MDT!

This collection’s theme is a reminder to, as my therapist always tells me, “let things unfold”. I’ve really struggled with anxiety in the past few years and even though these days it’s a lot better, I can always use the nudge to keep in mind that there is joy in letting things be and come as they are, and that there is freedom in removing oneself from always trying to influence the outcome.

Life is about taking each day as it comes and making the most of it, so let’s enjoy the ride and what it gives us.

This collection theme is also a nod to my favorite Frank Sinatra song by the same title. My parents used to play his tunes a lot when we were kids, at home or on long road trips in our van down to Mexico. Highly recommend putting this song on next time you’re prepping dinner, getting ready to go out, or even putting groceries away.

.. Broke out some of the last pairs of Morenci II turquoise that I’ve still got left to make these hoops. These bright blue stunners have tons of shimmery pyrite flecks all throughout, it’s basically like nature’s turquoise glitter haha!

Still glowing from this weekend’s holiday market, and so happy that basically all of the new items I made got scooped up! I still have one pair of hoop earrings (the ones shown here) as well as a new Aloe Variscite chain bolo. They’re both up on the site now, if you are interested in picking up any new jewels.✨

I may have the spoons to make a little more jewelry in time for Christmas, but ya girl needs a break from the bench for a bit! I will post here if a few more pieces do come together.

.. Its been a long time since I’ve made one of these, since 2021 in fact! The last two items for today’s Marigolds Collection are these two chain bolo necklaces. ⛓️🌙💠⛓️
The amber marquis is truly a special piece. Artisans in a Chiapas, Mexico hand-carved the flower from the UNDERSIDE of the stone, using a technique called reverse intaglio. It was an honor to wrap this beautiful piece of art in silver.
The turquoise is a freeform (my favorite shape, I love the organic forms) piece of Kingman turquoise from Arizona. We’ve got a golden and brown matrix threading through that stunning blue that we know and love from Kingman. This was one of the first large stones I bought when I start smithing, and I’m so happy to send it out into the world.
Both bolos have a handmade slide mechanism and come on 34” of sterling silver foxtail chain. If you’ve gotten a chain bolo from me in the past, this chain is daintier as I was experimenting with a different chain weave and diameter. These are fully functioning and adjustable, making it easy to put on/take off and adjust the stone so it lays to your liking.
I missed making these and forgot how beautiful they are! Expect to see more of these in my feed again in the future.

.. Yall didn’t think I’d have a collection release without a buncha rings, did you? 😏 Here are all of the hand adornments for the Marigolds Collection! I originally thought I’d have more amber and other warm stones, but found myself drawn to lots of black onyx, an incredible shimmery material called gold sheen obsidian, and some fun examples of Aloe variscite that have a major desert vibe to them.

THUMB: black onyx (size 6.5) and Aloe variscite (NFS–i discovered a catastrophic failure on the ring band last night and the ring needs to be taken apart and resoldered 😭)

.. Two sets of amber hoops will be hitting the site with this collection drop—a pair of my regular bad b*tch energy size (just over 2”) and then a set of the mini hoop size (just under 1 1/2”) for those that prefer a more manageable size lol. 🪄
Both sets feature more of that honeypot Mexican amber, with inclusions trapped inside that really make them so incredibly unique. The amber in the mini hoops has stunning flecks of black, and the stones in the full size hoops are a yummy swirl of dark orange/brown. Makes ya wonder what was flying around in the air 20 million years ago and got stuck in some tree sap, and is now going to be worn as a beautiful adornment. 🍯

.. Here’s something I haven’t made in awhile — a jewelry set! ✨
I used golden rutilated quartz for this stud earring & necklace combo, and kept the design simple to let these glimmery stones speak for themselves. I love the warmth that the gold inclusions give off, especially when they catch the sun (swipe to see different lighting and a video). The necklace comes on a silky smooth 18” sterling silver snake chain, making these perfect to accentuate a holiday dress or for everyday wear.
