Forty-one years ago I opened Silver Parrot at Stuyvesant Plaza. I worked to make Silver Parrot and, more recently, urbansterlingsilver.com, a place to find unique and well designed jewelry, accessories and clothing. For all those years, it has been the best job ever! Working with customers, curating our collections and being my own boss have all been immensely satisfying but time catches up to us all, and with that being said, it’s time for me to retire.

Silver Parrot as well as urbansterlingsilver.com will be closing on February 28th 2026. Starting today, Monday January 5th, everything in the store will be offered at 20% off! Please come in to redeem any and all gift cards by the last day of February!

The next two months will be an ongoing retirement party so please make sure to come in for a visit or two before I finally close the Silver Parrot’s door! I’m looking forward to seeing my customers one more time before I start this new chapter in my life!
