Today special greetings from the girls who participated in our lesson about menstrual health. At the end each got a bag with washable pads made by the women of Lulu. Thanks to Edilisha (NGO) for hosting us! Training credits to Teddy Deogratius.

MEET THE TEAM!

The realization of the *Work&Shop Creative Center* will be a great team effort and I can't think of doing it without these three talented people;
Laurent - who is our Site Manager responsible for overseeing building activities.
Elizabeth - Who is our Sales & Finance Officer responsible for the bookkeeping and sales/marketing activities.
Ester - who is our Government & Community Liaison responsible for all communications with government officials and community engagements.

So far we have received total donations of Euro 10.151,- !

Lieve mensen, dankzij jullie donaties hebben we al bijna 10.000,- euro binnen gehaald!! Hoe geweldig is dat! We hebben nog een lange weg te gaan om ons doel bedrag te halen, maar een begin is er. Dankjulliewel!

Het was een gezellige en succesvolle boekenborrel van Zoë Tjon A Ten! Jammer dat ik niet even op en neer kon vanuit Tanzania ;)

Every week we put one of our students from our (total 64 women) in the spotlight.

This time it is Eliada!
Mother of 2 kids and living together with her mom. We helped her with a starting capital to be able to make her own bread. And she is so creative ... She has more plans and learning to make different breads and pastry. She is making a traditional oven. Orders she gets from the neighbourhood and she says that it really helps her and her family to gain more income. Well done!!

Today we visited Ester and her group of girls. These girls are deaf and started their learning journey with Lulu back in 2022, but now they are an independent group under the name *JIKWAMUE Girls Deaf Group* (Jikwamue means stand-up/rise). They learn how to sew and other life changing skills; all under the supervision of their 'mama' Ester (she is so strong and talented!).
Keep on the good work ladies!
