Built upon a metal base, the surface is first engraved to establish a structured pattern, forming defined zones before color is gradually introduced.

Each color segment is anchored within its boundary, following the established contours with clarity and stability, creating a composition with a measured visual rhythm.The piece is then leveled and polished, bringing metal and color back to a unified plane, where light reveals a refined and restrained reflection.

From a distance, the composition appears cohesive and complete; up close, the interplay between texture and color unfolds in subtle detail.

【CYPRESS –Eggshell Raden - Maple Forest in Frost】

The golden hues of autumn's maple leaves are always breathtaking, but just before deep autumn sets in, a single frosty night transforms the vivid leaves into fiery flames. We aim to capture this fleeting moment of shimmering brilliance!

Each of the three designs showcases unique artistry: layered mountain ridges arranged with depth, Raden forming stone steps in the mountains, and dewdrops condensed from the earth's moisture. Using Nashiji lacquer (つるりにしじ), combined with gold powder, layer upon layer of lacquer is applied to evoke the misty atmosphere of a frost-covered maple forest, welcoming the arrival of late autumn.

隕石碳纖的紋理，是在製程中自然形成的流動痕跡。深黑之中交織藍、綠、赤等色彩，層層交錯，猶如岩層礦紋。每一支筆皆呈現不同的紋理走向，使材質本身帶有不可複製的表情。在低光環境或受光照之下，潛藏於紋理之中的多色光感會隨角度浮現，帶出近似夜色之中的流動光影，使整體視覺更具層次。

隕石碳纖在視覺上帶著石材般的粗獷感，觸感卻細緻溫潤，在光線之下隱約透出深層光澤，使整體呈現出剛與柔之間的平衡。

【CYPRESS – Meteor Carbon Fiber – Meteora Gallop】

The patterns of meteor carbon fiber are formed naturally during the making process, creating flowing traces that are never artificially arranged.
Within a deep black base, shades of blue, green, and red intertwine in layered variations, resembling mineral striations in rock formations.
Each pen reveals its own unique direction of patterning, giving the material an unrepeatable character.

In low-light conditions or under directed illumination, subtle multicolored reflections emerge from within the texture, shifting with viewing angles and creating a sense of movement reminiscent of light within the night.
Visually, the material carries a rugged, stone-like presence, yet to the touch it is unexpectedly smooth and warm.Under light, a quiet inner luster becomes visible, bringing a refined balance between strength and softness.

All metal components are crafted from stainless steel.The center band features a finely engraved motif of galloping horses, capturing motion within a continuous circular form.The rhythm of the running herd encircles the pen, gathering time, force, and movement into a unified expression, echoing the forward momentum of writing itself.

【CYPRESS－Maki-e－Celestial Peony】

Structured upon the traditional karakusa motif, the high maki-e vines unfold gently across the pen body. Each line draws into the next, forming a continuous rhythm in motion. Within this framework, peonies are arranged in layered bloom, their colors subtly reflecting one another, creating a composition that is both balanced and finely articulated.

Shell is inlaid within the petals, introducing shifts of light into what would otherwise be a static composition. The iridescence of Raden moves with the viewing angle, gliding softly through the heart of each flower as if holding light within. As the pen turns, light and shadow transition quietly between blossoms and vines, lending a sense of motion within stillness, with details that reveal themselves over time.

【CYPRESS－竹編之美】

竹編自帶天然的節奏感，經緯交錯之間，不同排列形成截然不同的視覺效果。
我們第一次將竹編結構運用在筆身之上，並嘗試幾種不同的編法。從選竹、剖竹、削篾到整篾，每一道工序都影響最終紋理的穩定與精度。此次包含最基礎的「細目編」，以緊密均勻呈現細緻質感；帶有呼吸節奏的「疏密編」，在規律中產生變化；橫向節奏明確的「橫紋編」，以及圖騰感鮮明的「格紋編」。
完成的編織需進一步貼合於筆管曲面，使平面竹編轉化為環形連續結構。竹材具有彈性與記憶性，貼合過程需反覆調整，使編織不鬆不緊，維持整體穩定。從材料處理到完成，往往需要將近一個月的時間。

【CYPRESS – The Pleasure of Bamboo Weaving】

Bamboo weaving carries a natural rhythm.
Through the interlacing of warp and weft, different arrangements create distinctly varied visual expressions.
This marks our first attempt to apply bamboo weaving to a pen body, exploring several weaving patterns.
From selecting the bamboo, splitting, shaving into fine strips, to refining each piece, every step influences the final precision and stability of the pattern.
This series includes the foundational Fine Weave, defined by its tight and even structure; the Rhythm Weave, where variations in density introduce a subtle sense of movement; the Band Weave, with its clear horizontal direction; and the Grid Weave, with a more pronounced graphic character.

The completed weave is then carefully fitted onto the curved surface of the pen, transforming a flat structure into a continuous cylindrical form.

Bamboo naturally carries both flexibility and memory, requiring repeated adjustments to ensure the weave remains balanced—neither too tight nor too loose. From material preparation to completion, each piece takes nearly a month to achieve a stable structure and refined texture.
