I am a martial artist first and foremost and an instructor; I teach Tai Chi, Kung Fu Karate and self defense. This is who I am, Tai Chi is my life force it drives my being it is what makes my creative self, without it there is no me. I graduated from what was the London School of Furniture and Design with a degree in design specializing in furniture textiles and interior design. I have always been
fascinated by colour, stones, shapes and nature; as a child I used to ground down coloured rocks to a powder, I would collect stones from the garden and collected just about anything that caught my eye, and of course the wonders of nature in the flower and vegetable garden my father kept was always a constant fascination. The formation of a rose, the patterned weave of the insects, all this unknown to me ingrained itself into my being. Pattern, shapes and forms both man made and from nature all come together in my designs. I am self taught and have been making jewellery since 2014, I use semi precious and precious gemstones, all are authentic, and ethically mined (something very important to me) I just love each and everyone of them from the majestic tanzanite to the humble but essential quartz. I am fascinated by these jewels of the earth and have set about creating jewellery, every piece I make I love, they are a representation of me, who I am in that very moment of creating.
