Avon orders can be placed from any of the three (3) current campaigns, which would be advertised on the page, where a URL Link to each current Avon Campaign brochure is posted for your convenience. Avon Campaign brochures are printed in the USA and thus all prices quoted in the brochures are denominated in a USD Currency; therefore all products must be converted using the relevant conversion rates
in order to derive the product's TTD value. The Conversion Rates are as follows:
- Avon Products (e.g. Make-up, jewelry, hair products, skin-care products, perfumes, etc.: $13.00
- Non-Avon Products (e.g. Clothing, shoes, handbags, household items, toys, etc): $14.00
All products are shipped via ocean freight from Avon's Head Office in the USA and thus the Estimated Shipping Time takes approximately 5 - 6 weeks (max) to arrive in Trinidad. Q: How to place an order? A: The following procedures can be followed when placing an order:
- Review the current Avon Campaign brochures posted on the fb page.
- Communicate the order, providing order details (i.e. Campaign #, Page #, Item Code, Item Description and USD Price) via fb messenger, e-mail, text messaging or whatsapp messaging.
- Provide a cell phone contact number, valid e-mail address and a general location for delivery
- A costing/invoice is then prepared and sent via e-mail.
- Review the costing/invoice for accuracy and completeness of the order, ensuring that the order details (i.e. Campaign #, Page #, Item Code, Item Description and USD Price) are correct.
- Respond to the e-mail, confirming that the order details are correct.
- A minimum 50% cash down-payment is required to secure the order, whereby arrangements are made for the payment of the cash down-payment.
- When the order arrives, the customer is contacted with regards to delivery of the order.
- The remainder 50% (or equivalent balance) is paid on delivery. Q: How do I calculate the TTD Price of an item? A: The price of each item is calculated using the following conversion/exchange rates:
- Avon items are multiplied by $12. Example 1: A lipstick may cost USD5 x TT$12 = TT$60.
- Non-Avon (*) items are multiplied by $13. Example 2: A pair of shoes may cost USD$20 x TT$13 = TT$260. Q: How do you make payment? A: Payments can be made in cash, where a 50% down-payment is required to secure the order and the remainder 50% (or equivalent balance) is paid upon delivery. Q: Do I have to pay for delivery and how do I collect my orders? A: Free delivery is offered to different locations, such as commercial malls, residential addresses or business places, etc.
