Meet Our Captains
Captain Hüseyin Eryılmaz: A graduate of Near East University Maritime Faculty in 2009, Captain Hüseyin joined the Bodrum Cruise Port family in 2024 after nearly 15 years of maritime experience ranging from officer roles to deep-sea captaincy. With his strong interest in ship navigation and maneuvering, he continues to contribute to the safe and efficient operations at our port.
Captain Ozan Aktaş: A graduate of Karadeniz Technical University Maritime Faculty in 2009, Captain Ozan joined the Bodrum Cruise Port family in 2025 following a 15-year maritime career on tanker vessels. Bringing extensive sea experience and strong local knowledge to our operations, he plays an important role in ensuring safe vessel movements at our port.

Maritime Pilotage is a highly specialized profession where the experience of an Oceangoing Master meets local expertise, precision and rapid decision-making. Even the most experienced masters must complete rigorous local training processes to adapt to the unique maneuvering conditions, currents and operational structure of each harbor.
From coordinating harbor maneuvers to ensuring the safe berthing of vessels under all conditions, Maritime Pilots play a critical role not only in protecting vessels, but also in safeguarding port infrastructure, surrounding waters and the marine environment.
