Dear Colleagues,

The COMET Program is pleased to announce the publication of the new lesson, "Understanding NBM v4.0 Snowfall Products". While many snowfall products exist from NWP output, none are quite like those generated from the National Blend of Models (NBM). This lesson is intended to provide forecasters with a brief introduction to the following products including caveats of each: Snow Amount (SnowAmt), Snow-to-liquid Ratio (SLR), and Snow Level (SnowLvl). This 30-minute lesson covers the basics of each product, how to use each product, and some of the necessary caveats when using them.
