For personal interest, Marcus is fascinated by organic forms

Pinkish Pitcher Brooch 🌺

One of my top favourite plants to observe when visiting a botanical gardens. It’s interesting shapes and the ability to traps insects just beg to be included in my design. Personally I have been attempting to make one for quite sometime, and it’s feel so good that this one has finally gives a satisfying result.

Children Of The Night: set of brooches. 🦇 🦇 🦇

Commission piece.

A group of bats partying in the sky, is the image stuck in my head when I saw a traditional Chinese painting. As charming as the story line in ‘Bram Stocker’s Dracula’ novel; a set of bat jewellery reminded me of the romance and drama in the tale.

Commission piece: Eye of Protection Ring

Inspired by the ancient amulet, the famous idea of evil eyes and Victorian jewellery. I have commission this ring with a symbol of protection, on each side is flank with 2 vipers make it similar to gorgon’s eyes which scare evil away.

Purple and Green Combination Ring.

One of my favourite combustions of colour is purple and green together, this piece is done on rose gold (plating) giving the satisfaction result. Which I have also add skeleton and engraved centipede detail on the side to create a spooky look on the piece.

The combination of pink and green are lovely and give autumn vibes, also the centipede shapes in the ring gives a feeling of mystery, quirky and unique look to the piece.

Blue Venom Earrings

There was quite a topic of discussion about blue dragons (sea slug) that found in southern Thailand a while ago. I wasn’t sure if it is because of global warming or they are simply just appear in Thailand but the beauty of them are very inspiring for pieces of jewellery.

Pink Widow Earrings. 🕷️

Satisfying combination between pink and white on the piece, the spider figures are inspired by the action of real life spiders. Like snakes and other animals I frequently use in my work, it’s always interesting to observe their behaviour in nature.

Commission ring: Mr. toad enjoying his dinner. 🐸

As I am rarely make toad or frog pieces, I am so happy with how this ring turn out. Inspired from different artefacts in Far Eastern, toads plays an important figure in many folklore and appear in many traditional bed time stories 🙃 a toad devour centipede would represent good fortune and eat away bad luck 😬

Commission Piece: Serket Ring 🦂

As someone who love history of fashion and jewellery, an Egyptian revival theme can be very charming. I remember seeing ancient Egyptian artefacts in the British Museum and it has inspired me to make related pieces, which I am happy that I can develop my scorpion pieces from working on this project.
