Lotus Arts de Vivre Preserving the fine art of traditional craftsmanship. All items are handmade.

Lotus Arts de Vivre, a family-run Thai business, has been designing unique and distinctive handmade jewellery, objets d’art and home décor items for more than 30 years. In that time the brand has grown from a small boutique business into one of Asia’s most recognized luxury design houses. Founded and run by the Thai-German von Bueren family, the Bangkok-based company specialises in the use of natural materials to produce individual one-of-a-kind pieces that are instantly recognisable by their organic, often unorthodox, designs. Rolf and Helen von Bueren founded Lotus Arts de Vivre three decades ago in order to produce unique luxury jewellery items that were inspired by the rich culture and artisan traditions of Thailand and combined these centuries-old traditions with contemporary design. The company has built its reputation on creating imaginative individual pieces and eschewing mass production.

The Eye Behind The Extraordinary

Great design begins with a vision that transcends the visible. For Sri von Bueren, each creation is an expression of considered thought — where every line, detail and decision serves a greater vision, and every perspective adds depth to the creative process.

Beyond the finished piece lies a world of thought, revealed through the perspectives of those who bring it to life. Here, a vision takes form through craftsmanship, becoming something that carries meaning long after its creation.

Every jewel carries a journey.

Diamonds from the ancient mines of Golconda gathered across centuries each waiting for a setting worthy of it.

Among them, a suite of gold and fire: citrines the colour of late afternoon, garnets of deep crimson, held in brilliant diamonds and the bold lines of mid-century high jewellery.

True elegance is a tale woven by time.

Beyond their mesmerising splendour, these jewels hold whispered histories. Our natural Basra pearls, sourced from the ancient depths of the Persian Gulf, carry the romantic, silvery-white glow of a bygone era. They sit in striking contrast to the fierce, hypnotic hues of our legendary emeralds, which radiate an untamed purity.

This rich heritage meets elegance in our multi-strand collar — a masterful design that seamlessly detaches into twin bracelets as your evening evolves.

Three stones. Three empires. One vitrine.

Every jewel carries a story — not only through the stones it holds, but through the way it is designed, worn and lived with.

A diamond from Golconda, clear as still water, its light soft rather than sharp. A pearl from the Persian Gulf, formed slowly in warm, shallow seas, silken in lustre and the colour of cream. A ruby from the historic mines of Burma, a red so deep and saturated it seems to glow from within.

Two of these sources are now silent. The Golconda mines closed around 1800; the Gulf's pearling fleets fell quiet in the 1930s. What remains lives on in old cuts and old settings, made to be kept, treasured and remembered.

Stories in Stones, curated by Lotus Arts de Vivre. Jewels from different eras and traditions, chosen for their character, craftsmanship and individuality — a collection that feels discovered over time.
