WHY DO WE TAKE SAMPLES FROM 5 DIFFERENT POINTS OF THE SAME LOT?

Because your laboratory result starts with the sample.

Before we analyse platinum, palladium and rhodium in your converter lot, we first need a sample that properly represents the material in the lot.

After the lot is mixed and homogenised, BR Metals collects material from 5 different points.

The samples then go to our dry lab for:
- Pulverisation into fine powder
- Further blending
- XRF analysis
- ICP analysis for Pt, Pd & Rh

Why all these steps? Because even the best laboratory analysis can only analyse the sample it receives. A more representative sample gives you a better basis for understanding what is actually in the whole lot.
