One of our favourite discoveries in May.

When we started planning the Batik campaign, we searched across Indonesia and Malaysia for a location that felt true to the story we wanted to tell.

We eventually found UmaKayu, a collection of beautifully restored Joglo villas tucked away in Bali.

The carved woodwork, antique details, tropical gardens and quiet corners felt like the perfect backdrop for a collection inspired by tradition, craftsmanship and heritage.

And yes, there was a resident cat who clearly thought he owned the place.

If you’re heading to Bali and looking for somewhere a little different, this one is worth saving.

Why are we so drawn to butterflies?
