Sometimes, jewellery doesn’t need replacing. It just needs a new beginning. ✨

Recently, my girlfriend E brought me a few pieces she had collected over the years. She wasn’t wearing them anymore, including this pair of jadeite earrings that felt a little too old-fashioned for her.

But the jadeites? Beautiful quality. Definitely worth keeping and wearing for many more years. 💚

So we decided to redesign what she already had.

Together, we reimagined the pieces and transformed the jadeites into this modern Art Deco-inspired design — elegant, timeless and completely different from the original.

Our experienced craftsman brought the design to life beautifully, and seeing how happy E was with the final piece made it all worthwhile. ✨

This is what we love about jadeite — giving beautiful stones a new life while creating something that feels modern and uniquely yours.

A little throwback to my first SIJE, and a rare moment when I brought out my own collection to showcase at my booth. 🤍

My hand resting on one of the trays of jadeite carvings I’ve collected over the years — pieces that I’ve picked up simply because something about them caught my eye. A beautiful carving, an unusual shape, an interesting detail… sometimes I don’t even know what they’ll become yet. I just know I love them.

Most people probably haven’t seen this side of my collection, as these are pieces I rarely bring out or showcase.

Beyond designing jewellery, I really love the process of sourcing and curating. The excitement of coming across a gorgeous jadeite carving or gemstone, imagining its possibilities, and sometimes letting it sit with me until the right idea comes along.

I’m opening up some of these pieces for those who may be looking for something special for their next jewellery project.

One of the best meals we had in Bangkok — and quite honestly, one of the nicest handmade noodles I’ve ever tried. 🍜🤍

No Name Noodle by Chef Shin NO NAME NOODLE 🇹🇭 official was such a special experience. I was incredibly lucky to get to try the seasonal menu, Momo 🍑, and I honestly still can’t quite describe how special and delicious my set was. Every bite felt so thoughtfully made, and the noodles themselves were just incredible. You can see from the video how Chef Shin prepares every bowl of noodles. My bowl of noodles is almost like an art.

And I have my kind girlfriend to thank for making this experience possible. She had been looking forward to trying No Name Noodle herself and was the one who helped me get a seat to join her. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to make it in the end, even though she really wanted to.

So while I’m incredibly grateful that I got the chance to experience this meal, I definitely wished she could have been there to enjoy it with me. ❤️

Every gem hunting trip leaves me feeling inspired. 💙

There’s something so special about seeing beautiful Sleeping Beauty turquoise in person. Mined in Arizona, this legendary turquoise is becoming harder and harder to find since the mine stopped producing turquoise years ago. The finest pieces are loved for their beautiful robin’s egg blue colour—clean, vibrant and almost glowing, which is why collectors around the world treasure them.

People often ask me about natural versus stabilised turquoise. Natural turquoise is much rarer because it is naturally hard and durable without any treatment. Stabilised turquoise has been strengthened to improve its durability, which is a common and accepted practice, but it’s important that it’s always disclosed. That’s why buying from a trusted source makes all the difference—you deserve to know exactly what you’re investing in.

I’m so thankful to have built long-term relationships with people I genuinely trust. This seller even carves many of his own stones, and it’s always a joy to see such beautiful craftsmanship paired with exceptional material.

These are the moments that remind me why I love gemstone hunting so much. Beautiful gems, passionate people, and friendships built on trust—I’m always grateful for every trip. 🤍
