Some moments stay with you, not just because of where you are, but because of who’s right beside you. 🤍

Our very first mother-and-daughter solo trip to Tokyo! We spent time exploring Okachimachi, wandering through its jewellery and gemstone streets that I’ve always wanted to visit. 💎

This particular photo, taken by my eldest daughter on Ruby Street, means so much to me.

I’ve visited jewellery destinations before, but this time felt different. Having her right beside me, accompanying me as I explored something I’m so passionate about, made the experience extra special. More than just sharing a trip, I felt her support for a dream that means so much to me. ❤️

Looking at this photo, I’m reminded that the journey is just as beautiful as the destination — especially when you have someone you love walking alongside you.

More places to explore, more dreams to pursue, and so much more to look forward to. I’m just getting started. ✨

One of the things I enjoy most about what I do is sourcing and curating unique Jadeite and gemstone carvings. 🕊️ Small in size. Extraordinary in skill.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Jadeite carving is that bigger means more difficult.

In reality, miniature carvings like these often require even greater precision and craftsmanship.

Each of these tiny Jadeite birds was carved from natural Jadeite by a skilled craftsman, carefully shaping every feather, curve, and detail within a very limited space. There is little room for error. A single wrong cut can change the entire piece.

What amazes me most is how much life can be brought out from such a small piece of Jadeite.

From vibrant green to soft lavender and icy translucent Jadeite, each bird has its own character and charm. Looking at them closely, they almost seem ready to flutter away. 🕊️

This is one of the reasons I enjoy sourcing unique Jadeite pieces and working with talented craftsmen who can transform beautiful material into miniature works of art.
